Manchester City beat Chelsea minimally

City completely outplayed its rivals. Manchester City scored a minimal victory over Chelsea in an away match of the sixth round of the England championship. The guests absolutely outplayed the Londoners – 60% versus 40% of the ball possession, nine shots on goal versus one and four kicks on target versus zero.

And according to the standard provisions, Manchester City has an advantage – 13 corners and 12 free kicks against Chelsea’s four and nine, respectively. However, City scored only once. At the beginning of the second half, Manchester City players played a corner kick. João Canselo shot from a distance, but the ball was intercepted by Gabriel Jesus, who ferried it into the goal.
