  • Cristiano Ronaldo is staying a Qatar with his national team
  • However, the Portuguese has to watch what Manchester United does
  • The English club wants to terminate the 37-year-old’s contract as soon as possible

Manchester United has had enough of Ronaldo

An entire interview given by Cristiano Ronaldo to The Sun was published in recent days. The Portuguese did not bite his tongue and blamed Manchester United for many things. Among other things, the 37-year-old admitted that he has no respect for Erik ten Hague. It has thus become clear that Ronaldo will not remain a Red Devil for much longer. However, the parting may come sooner than it seems.

The most viable option simply seemed to be that Ronaldo would leave Old Trafford in the winter transfer window and join another team. Manchester United, in its statement regarding the Portuguese’s interview, was quiet. However, the consequences will be drawn quickly. The Red Devils are seeking to have Ronaldo’s contract terminated for his fault.

As Fabrizio Romano reports, Manchester United’s intention is to get Ronaldo to stop being their player later this week. It is possible that the club will seek compensation from the Portuguese, who is currently preparing for his first group stage match at the World Cup. The 37-year-old is therefore unable to focus fully on his national team, as the situation with Manchester United remains to be resolved.
