David De Gea has once again stressed that he would like to continue his career at Manchester United and is waiting for a new contract from the club. His current contract expires next June.

- The Spaniard can expect a one-year extension or sign a new contract with different terms
De Gea still uncertain about his future
De Gea arrived at Manchester United in 2011 from Atletico Madrid. On Sunday, the Spaniard scored his 500th appearance in the colors of the Red Devils in a match against Newcastle United.
The goalkeeper, however, is still unsure of his future. His contract expires in less than twelve months, while the authorities of the Old Trafford club have still not offered him a new contract.
– This is my club. This is where I feel perfectly comfortable. I think I play very well and have a lot of confidence. I still have many years of playing ahead of me. I make no secret of the fact that I would like to stay here for more years, to break records and make history. I would also like to help young people succeed,” De Gea said.
This is the umpteenth time the Spanish goalkeeper has spoken about his future in the context of Manchester United. The media believe that the Spaniard can count on extending his contract by a year or signing a new one on different terms, but in that case he would face a pay cut.
