Milan is ready to offer the 40-year-old forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic a one-year contract at the end of the season.
The meeting of the parties is scheduled for April, when the bosses of the Rossoneri are ready to discuss the continuation of cooperation, according to Nicolo Skira.
However, the player’s salary will be significantly reduced compared to what money Ibrahimovic earns now. Currently, the salary of the Swede is seven million euros, while the new agreement will include a salary of 2.5 million euros + bonuses.
Earlier, Ibrahimovic spoke about ending his career in the media, where he insisted on winning at least one trophy with Milan before leaving football.
