According to the sources, Newcastle has settled a 2.5-year agreement with ex-Bournemouth head coach Eddie Howe. The 43-year-old Englishman is an alternative to Unai Emery, who decided to continue working in Villarreal amid the interest of the Magpies.
Howe is expected to become the first Newcastle coach to be appointed by the club’s new owners from the Saudi Arabian Investment Fund. Eddie will replace Steve Bruce, who was fired in October and left the team in 19th place in the Premier League table.
Tomorrow, November 6, Newcastle will play an away game against Brighton. Howe worked as a coach with Burnley and Bournemouth. The latter he led to the Premier League in 2015 and showed an exciting football with limited possibilities. Now, he finally receives a potentially stronger team, which is a perfect challenge for the young manager. Want to know more about football and don’t miss the important news?
