Victor was born in Israel, where at that time his father – goalkeeper Vitaly Tsygankov was playing. After the end of his father’s career, the family moved to Vinnytsia. Very in the Vinnytsia Youth Sports School Victor began to play football. In training, Tsygankov was not limited by certain frames but was given more opportunities to show creative football. All this is because the father of the young talent knew the coaches of the Youth Sports School very well.
In November 2010 the Dynamo Kyiv Academy invites a promising footballer to join its ranks. Victor agrees, simultaneously rejecting the offer of Shakhtar Donetsk. In the 2012/13 season, his double in the fight for third place brought Dynamo bronze in the Youth Football League championship among 17-year-olds. In 2013, in Moscow, at the U-17 Spartak Cup tournament, Dynamo footballers played against peers from the schools of Barcelona, Celtic, Tottenham, Benfica, and Spartak Moscow. Despite the failure of the Kyiv club and the last place taken, the prize of the best midfielder of the tournament went to Victor.

Victor progressed noticeably, thanks to which he was transferred to an older team. After graduating from the Dynamo Kyiv Academy, Victor Tsygankov was ahead of his teammates, being enrolled not in the under-19 team, but immediately in the youth team. In 2014 Victor went to the Austrian training camp of Dynamo Kyiv together with the team. At that time, he was 16 years old. At this training camp, Tsygankov for the first time played for the main team of Dynamo in a match against the Austrian Schwaz and scored a goal in another friendly game against Skenderbeu. In the 2015/16 season, Tsygankov, as part of the U-19 youth team, played in the first UEFA Youth League for Dynamo Kyiv. He helped win the debut match with the main competitor in the group Porto and scored a home goal in the last meeting with the Israeli Maccabi, which brought Dynamo Kyiv victory and access to the playoffs.

On August 14, 2016, at the age of 18, the attacking midfielder made his debut for the Dynamo first team in the Premier League match against Stal Kamianske. The debut of the young midfielder in the Champions League was on September 13 of the same year in a match with Napoli. On July 29, 2017, in a match with Karpaty Lviv, the footballer scored the first hat-trick in his professional career for Dynamo Kyiv, thereby breaking the 50-year-old record of Anatoly Byshovets, and became the youngest hat-trick author in the history of Dynamo Kyiv at the age of 19 years and 256 days old.

Tsygankov in the national team of Ukraine
Victor played for the youth teams of Ukraine, played with the team at the European Championships. In 2016, he first entered the field as part of the youth national team of Ukraine. A career in the main national team began with the assignment of a new head coach of the national team, Andriy Shevchenko. It was he who called Tsygankov to the national team.
