Zidane’s future will soon be clear
Much has already been written and said about the future of Zinedine Zidane and when in fact the Frenchman might lead a team again. It turns out that we won’t have to wait much longer for an answer.
In an interview with RMC Sport, Zidane made it clear that he is thinking of returning to world soccer. – I will be back soon. Just wait a little bit. I’m not that far away from training again,” admitted the Frenchman, suggesting that we will soon see him at the sideline again.
Zidane’s entire coaching career has been linked to Real Madrid. The former player first served as an assistant and coached the reserves before finally taking the helm of the first team in January 2016. The Frenchman led the Royals to three straight Champions League triumphs in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He also won the Spanish championship or the Club World Cup. In May 2018, he completed his first adventure with Los Blancos. He still returned to the club in 2019-2021, when he reached the national championship, but failed to repeat his success on the international stage.
Zinedine Zidane has long been linked with a return to the coaching bench. The Frenchman has been repeatedly tried on as Paris Saint-Germain coach. Some media have also named him among the favorites to take the helm at Juventus. Most say, however, that after the World Cup in Qatar, he could replace Didier Deschamps as France’s national team selector
